When A Boy Says Good Bye To His Mother Antique 1917 Jack Frost Sheet Music

Antique 1917 World War I sheet music to the Jack Frost song When A Boy Says Good Bye To His Mother and She Gives Him to Uncle Sam, with the cover depicting a young man in military uniform embracing his mother.  The song speaks of the pride, hope, and fear a mother has when her son goes off to serve in the war.
Chorus:  "When a boy says goodbye to his mother, and the sound of the bugle is heard, he knows that tear in her eye means 'Come back by and by,' tho her fond lips breathe never a word. All the angels are praying above her that he'll come back to Yankee land; when a boy says goodbye to his mother, and she gives him to Uncle Sam."

This sheet music measure approx. 13-1/2" high and 10" wide, and is in good condition for its age, with tears at the edges, the longest of which is 1-3/8" long on the right side.
