Unbranded 24" Warranted Boxwood 4-Fold Vintage Wooden Folding Ruler
Unbranded vintage 24 inch Warranted Boxwood 4-part, 4-fold wooden folding ruler with brass hardware, including a round hinge at the center. One side of the ruler is incised with WARRANTED BOXWOOD to the sides of the 9, while the other side of the rule has a faint MADE IN U.S.A. to the sides of the 15. No other names or markings are found on either the wood or the metal.
This ruler is as found, with obvious age, use and wear leaving some numbers more faint than others. It opens and closes easily and properly, without any warping. Age is unknown, but likely dates to the 1930s or 1940s if not earlier. The wood to this ruler has a smooth, seasoned patina that provides a solid connection to history and memories.

One of two old wooden 4-fold folding rulers available here at Flashback Alley (see below), this vintage Star Leader measures 1/2 inch wide and 24 inch long and with metal hinges, including a round hinge at the center.
