Absolutely wild, here's a colorful Yone bird to add to your menagerie of vintage tin wind-up toys. At first glance, I thought this little guy was a fish, but then once I took in his litho features, I realized that his bird beak was just "painted" on. With a lime green underbelly that actually glows under a black light, I'm speculating he dates to the 1960s.

One of my favorites (I love red!), this Akro corkscrew marble has an opaque base with a translucent red snake, its color and properties giving the cork a darker spiraling look. In addition to the photos taken with the photography lights, I've included a couple of shots of this beauty in bright, natural sunlight, the latter of which was taken (as you can see) with the sun coming in from the opposite side.
Size: 17 mm in diameter (just under 11/16 inches)
