Vintage Callaway Towel Bath Towel & Washcloth - Yellow and Black 1970s
A vintage three-piece bath towel set consisting of a wash cloth, a hand towel, and a bath towel, all appearing to be unused, with Harmony House Sears, Roebuck and Co. labels. Likely from the 1960s or 1970s, these are made of 70% cotton and 30% rayon.
The wash cloth measures approx. 11-1/2" square, the hand towel measures 24" long, excluding the fringe, and approx. 15-3/8" wide, and the bath towel measures 42" long (again, excluding the fringe) and 24" wide.
All are in wonderful, unwashed, like-new condition, with the only condition issues being what resembles a light pencil-like marking at the top of a yellow flower in the middle of the hand towel (as shown) and a small bit of stray brown coloration at one side of the bath towel (as shown), both of which may well wash away.
This is just one listing of many unused vintage bath towels I acquired through an estate where the original owner (someone who lived through the Depression) apparently loved to stock up.Vintage Callaway Towel set consisting of a bath towel & washcloth, believed to be cotton, in an eye-catching color combo of yellow with black trim, likely dating to the 1970s.
Both pieces are in great condition, with a few minor loop pulls but appearing to have seen little if any use.
Bath towel measures approx. 42" long and 25" wide, while the washcloth is approx. 13" x 12".
Both have the Callaway - Label of Luxury / Yarn Dyed / Made in U.S.A. labels.
Prepacked weight: 12 oz.
