I always find archives of sold items helpful, so I've kept and moved this here. But to anyone looking for price comps, one word of caution

This item may have sold this week, this month, this year, or as long ago as sometime this decade.  As such, the listed selling price may not be indicative of the current value of any similar item.

Vintage E.G. Booz's Old Cabin Whiskey Bottle in Aqua Blue

SOLD! Vintage E.G. Booz's Old Cabin Whiskey Bottle in Aqua Blue

Vintage E.G. Booz's Old Cabin Whiskey House glass figural bottle in aqua blue.  The bottle's beveled roof has the year 1840 embossed on one side, with the name (E.G. Booz's Old Cabin Whiskey) embossed on the other side as well as one side of the house. The opposite side of the cabin or house shows the address: 120 Walnut St., Philadelphia.

This bottle stands approx. 7-5/8 inch high, 4-1/16 inch wide, and 3 inch deep (at the roof line), and has a round recessed area on the base of the bottle, but no markings.  The color on this bottle is a lighter blue, at times appearing to be almost an aqua blue.

In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks, but with a few encased bubbles. (See the image zoom.)

Unmarked as to maker, but this glass flask was originally produced by Whitney Glass Works circa 1860, with that Early American flask later reproduced by other companies, including L.E. Smith, Clevenger Brothers Glass Works and Wheaton Glass Company, along with a few others.  (Source: L.E. Smith Glass Company: The First One Hundred Years, p. 205.)
