A large (22 mm) vintage Czech marble with swirling thin yellow and red frosted stripes coming around from both sides, leaving a thin window to reveal the translucent center. Adding variety to its intriguing look, one view of this mib shows the stripes diving more toward the center, with a lone, stray thread of green/blue/black tagging along.
I've seen some of these referred to as bullet mold marbles, but don't know if that term is more accurate and appropriate than to sa..

A wonderful war-era perfume bottle with a daisy stopper, manufactured in the USA by Imperial Glass for Irving W. Rice & Co. of New York (IRice) in the early 1940s. The flat flower stopper is entirely smooth on one side, while the other side has a moulded diamond-point texture, which helps to catch and play with the light. The bottle itself measures 2-1/2" high and 2-3/4" wide, with the stopper bringing the assembled height to 5-3/4". The stopper has a shallow flake on the..
For your vintage marble collection, a set of 19 multi-colored cat's eye Marble King vintage marbles, with colors of blue, yellow, green, peachy orange and white. This set of Marble King cat eyes is believed to date to around the 1960s, still in the original unopened bag. The bag label indicates that the "bag includes shooter 319-CE," however, all 19 marbles appear to be of the same size (16mm). The bag plastic has dulled with age and there is one corner with a few snags, bu..

One of my favorites (I love red!), this Akro corkscrew marble has an opaque base with a translucent red snake, its color and properties giving the cork a darker spiraling look. In addition to the photos taken with the photography lights, I've included a couple of shots of this beauty in bright, natural sunlight, the latter of which was taken (as you can see) with the sun coming in from the opposite side.
Size: 17 mm in diameter (just under 11/16 inches)
Coming from the same estate, two pair of vintage marbles -- with each pair or set consisting of a 5/8" mib and a 1/2" peewee - all believed to be Master Marble Comet patches. One of the pairs is done in an egg yolk yellow and red color combination, while the other is black and mustard yellow. Each of the larger marbles show damage, with the yellow/red one having a jagged crack all the way around the outer surface and the black/yellow one actually as made, but with a couple of..
