Larger F&F Mold and Die Black Americana Uncle Moses Pepper Shaker

Larger F&F Mold and Die Black Americana Uncle Moses Pepper Shaker

According to Antique Trader's Black Americana, F&F Mold & Die produced its figural hard plastic Uncle Moses and Aunt Jemima salt and pepper shakers in two sizes, 3-1/2" and 5-1/4". This fabulous Black Americana treasure features Uncle Mose in the larger pepper form.

If you're needing both shakers, you're in luck — you'll find I've listed Aunt Jemima separately in consideration of the shopper who may already have one, now needing only the other.

This Uncle Moses is original from the late 1940s to early 1950s, and certainly looks fabulous after all these years, coming from an estate in which a number of Black Americana items were well-preserved, many appearing to have never even been used. Measuring at 5-1/8" high and complete with original stopper, he couldn't look much more handsome, with all original paint. Embossed "Uncle Mose" at the back, lower edge of his jacket, and the underside bears the raised marking of "F.&F. - Mold & Die Works - Dayton, Ohio" "Made in U.S.A."
