For those hungry man mealtimes, here we have a large old Majestic brown and white spatter graniteware kettle cooker or deep pot that certainly lives up to its Majestic name. Measuring 7-5/8 inch high and 10 inch in diameter, the weight on this iron cooker comes in just under 5 pounds! Another fabulous old piece of graniteware in a rich brown and white spatter, this piece being a large drainer pan insert, appearing to be almost identical to the drainer pan shown on page 212 of Helen Greguire's second book, in the brown and white section. For the collector of old graniteware, here we have a wonderful speckled white double boiler with tiny flecks of black mixed into the white enamel ware finish that is found top to bottom and inside out. Standing approx. 8 inch to the top of the lid, this granite ware double boiler has a seamless body and rounded belly or base that measures 7 inch in diameter, with a 6-1/2 inch handle. This double boiler likely dates to the 1950s, possibly 1960s.
