Antique Gorham sterling silver demitasse spoon from the Fontainebleau pattern, a fabulous pattern designed by Antoine Heller in the late 1800s (1880) and depicting various medieval courtyard scenes. The demitasse spoon features a man, in courtly attire, holding and stirring a large sauce pot.
Spoon measures 4-1/4 inch long, and weighs 14.7 grams. The back of the handle is marked Sterling along with Gorham's rampant lion hallmark, with the handle side marked Copyrighted. The back of the handle shows a TR monogram.
