A wonderful Akro Agate teapot from the line of children's toy dishes, in cobalt blue, softly marbleized with wisps of white showing here and there. According to The Complete Line of the Akro Agate Co., the smaller size pieces had 18 interior panels while the larger had 16. The dart-shaped ribbons (which are not always found on the serving pieces) are in groups of 5 on the small size, with 7 ribbons on the larger size.

Absolutely wild, here's a colorful bird to add to your menagerie of tin wind-up toys. At first glance, I thought this little guy was a fish, but then once I took in his litho features, I realized that his bird beak was just "painted" on. With a lime green underbelly that actually glows under a black light, I'm speculating he dates to the 1960s.

Here's one happy, smiling vintage pig! A 1950s Plakie hard plastic baby rattle with the head taking the figural form of a pig. The rattle base and back are baby girl pink, with the rattle handle showing an embossed Plakie mark on both the front and the back. Rattle measures 4-3/4 inch long. In good, as-found condition, commensurate with age. (There's a bit of coloration loss on the pig's mouth and nose, and the handle has light handling smudges.)..
1963 vintage wooden mechanical Gregor Creations pull string marionette clown, made in Austria. Pull the string that hangs from the bottom and the clown throws up his hands and kicks out his legs, sticking out his bright red tongue to finish off the amusing sentiment.
