Blue Antique Victorian Water Pitcher and Glass Set - White Enamel
Beautiful blue antique Victorian water pitcher and glass set consisting of one pitcher and four tumbler drinking glasses, each decorated with white enamel lily of the valley flowers. The pitcher stands approx. 8-3/4 inch tall to the top of the squared ruffled rim, and measures 7-1/2 inches from handle to spout. There is just a whisper of the gold trim remaining at the rim. The pitcher's slightly flared base measures 5-3/8 inches in diameter, with a rough pontil mark serving as testament to its hand blown creation.
The four tumblers stand just slightly taller than 4 inches, with 3-inch rims that again give hint of the gold trim.
Both the pitcher and the tumblers have tiny encased air bubbles in the glass; no nicks, chips or cracks noted. The white lily of the valley decoration is complemented with a touch of gold on the neighboring leaves, in good condition, but again showing subtle signs of wear.
