1963 Shenango China Marley's Ghost Christmas Carol Plate with Insert

1963 vintage Shenango China Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol plate titled Marley's Ghost and featuring the work of R. Flading. This plate is accompanied by the paper insert confirming this is number Twelve of a series. The insert goes on to read: "And with it, we conclude our Charles Dickens Christmas Story. We hope you've enjoyed receiving these collector's items as much as we have enjoyed making them and sending them to you. Next year, we'll begin a new series based on the popular old English Christmas song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas". We wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Most Happy New Year. Geo. B. As with all the plates in this series, the colors are green and black on white porcelain, with a gold trim around the rim.

In excellent vintage condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks, and no notable wear to the gold trim.
