A stunning sterling silver clothes brush from Redlich & Company's earlier production years, with the brush back offering a full bouquet of daffodils and ferns in high repousse, amidst a border of curly cues.

Measuring 7-1/4" long and 2-1/4" wide, the silver has been lightly polished to confirm that it is in very good condition; I don't find any notable dents or dings, just a short, shallow crease near one end that is detectable only from an angle, and then only barely.

Operating in New York, NY from approximately 1890 to 1946, one side of the brush back is marked with the earlier Redlich hallmark, accompanied by Sterling 60. The other side of the handle shows Pat. 97, suggesting an 1897 date.

Overall, in very good condition, and a real beauty to adorn your vanity table. Ornately monogrammed MB.
