and operates through the use of a couple of gears, a spring, and a
plunger mechanism. Push the plunger to work the gear system, and the
yellow disc spins and, with it, the four egg segments spin as they open
fully to reveal a stationary yellow chick at the center. I'm virtually
certain there is supposed to be a network of miniature rubber bands
running around or across the base of the egg segments, helping to keep
them closed while the gears and spinner are quiet. (There was a
fragment of a thin, dried rubber band in there, but it has since fallen
away.) Spins and works fine as is, but apply the right-sized rubber
band, and you'll have this ready to surprise and delight.
Measures
4-1/2" long (to the plunger end) and 3" high (2" from the yellow
platform to the egg top). Marked on the underside Made in Hong Kong.

The red bus is 1-3/4" long, while the gray fin-tailed car is 2" long. The paint on the bus is in great condition, but the gray car has a few scratches on one side. I'm intrigued that the car tires are inside the frame, but then again, I'm a girl and cars have always been a bit of a mystery to me.

Great for miniature displays, be it creche or otherwise. Here's an opportunity to add two cars to your fleet of cars for one low price!

Still with the original certificate, I believe this diecast car is in 1:16 scale, although neither the paperwork nor the underside of the frame indicate scale. The car hood, trunk, and doors all open to reveal a clean, like-new interior, and the car is accompanied by a wooden display base with short, subtle grooves for tire placement and a metal name tag that reads 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air.

This diecast car measures 1" long, bumper to bumper. In excellent condition, with no dings or scratches noted. (I speculate it is supposed to have an antenna, but I find none loose in any of the compartments.)

According to the label, this little guy is not a wind-up piece. Instead, you apparently just place him on an incline and then watch him walk! The underside of his tail has a roller-type wheel, and he stands on two feet. As he's still in his original plastic wrap, I've not really been able to give him a test run, but imagine he works as he should.

Stands 3" high. Label (which was printed in Hong Kong) shows the Marx logo, and reads No Winding - Place on Incline & - Watch 'em Walk. A sweet toy from the past, perfect for a vintage Easter!
At first glance, I thought this little guy was a fish, but then once I took in his litho features, I realized that his bird beak was just "painted" on. With a lime green underbelly that actually glows under a black light, I'm speculating he dates to the 1960s.

Stands 2-1/2" high and a rather stocky 1-3/4" wide, marked on the tail underside with the Yone diamond mark, No. 2172, Made in Japan. In excellent condition, with one small rub on his back, just to the right of his left wing.

Be sure to check out the rest of my "toy box," which includes other wind-up goodies! I'm always happy to combine shipping.

One of a number of Breyer horses I have available, this is Breyer's
stubborn Molly Mule (Model # 753), from the Balking Mule traditional
mold, originally sculpted by Chris Hess. With a glossy grey shaded
body, dark gray points, small black spatter spots, and a black halter,
Molly was released for six months, during the spring of 1999, as a
Collector's Edition Breyer.

Molly still retains her hang tag, which reads: "Last seen in the Breyer line over 25 years ago, the 'balking mule' makes her comeback debut in 1999. First introduced in 1968 in bay and seal brown, these older Mules are a collector's treasure. . . . Sculpted by master Breyer artist Chris Hess, the Mule has not been widely available until now! Returning for a short time to the Breyer line is Molly, a stunning glossy grey appaloosa Mule. This old-style color is a collector's favorite, giving the piece a look of fine ceramic."

Molly is listed on page 34 of Browell's Breyer Animal Collector's Guide (3rd
ed., 2003). In excellent condition, with no issues noted. (To look at
her from the underside, there appears to be some excess layering on her
right rear hoof, however, she stands level.) Molly was part of a large
cabinet (non-toy) collection.
