The bowl size and shape of both pieces seem to suggest an intended use for dessert, with images of drizzling cream or chocolate accompanied by rich, succulent berries dancing around in my head.

Both handles have a hammered sterling finish, reminiscent of the arts and
craft movement, with an unengraved shield panel, perfect for monogramming. Both handle backs are marked Sterling Handle with the Webster Company "W" and arrow hallmark.

Cream ladle measures approx. 6-1/2" long with the bowl 1-3/4" in diameter. The berry spoon is 7" long, with a 1-1/2" wide bowl. In excellent condition.

earlier production years, with the brush back offering a full bouquet of
daffodils and ferns in high repousse, amidst a border of curly cues.

Measuring 7-1/4" long and 2-1/4" wide, the silver has been lightly polished to confirm that it is in very good condition; I don't find any notable
dents or dings, just a short, shallow crease near one end that is
detectable only from an angle, and then only barely.

Operating in New York, NY from approximately 1890 to 1946, one side of the brush back is marked with the earlier Redlich hallmark, accompanied by Sterling 60.
The other side of the handle shows Pat. 97, suggesting an 1897 date.

Overall, in very good condition, and a real beauty to adorn your vanity table. Ornately monogrammed MB.

The classic ribbed pattern is found on the top of the warming stand as well as the lower portion of the tea pot itself, with the ribbing continuing up as the perfect finishing touch to the hinged lid, where the ribbed ebony finial is set perpendicular to the top. The large, curved handle has silver-plated S scroll sides and a rich ebony wood handle center.

As with most spirit kettles, this sturdy tea pot and warmer stand is electroplated nickel silver, as denoted by the EPNS marking. The silver plating on the handle sides appears to be largely worn, which doesn't detract too terribly, as it blends well with the ebony treatment. There is a subtle, shallow ding on the back of the pot and one of the pin chains needs to be reattached to the base. Otherwise, the only thing this spirit kettle needs is a more thorough polishing.

Marked with the William Adams W A mark, along with Great Britain, EPNS, Warranted Hard Soldered, and the number 46030.

These oval-shaped master salts measure approx. 3-1/4" long, 2-1/4" wide, and 1-1/2" high. Marked with the 1886 year mark on one edge, and Gorham's lion, anchor, G hallmark on the other edge, along with Sterling and the shape number of 2175.

In fabulous condition, one of the cobalt liners has been ground down to properly fit into the silver frame, while the other has a tiny nick on the underside edge, fully undetected until you remove it from its silver bed. Lightly polished, you may want to bring them to a glistening sheen.

1880s Gorham Aesthetic Silver Salt Pepper Shaker Set

This shaker set is marked with the Gorham Co. name, topped by an anchor, and the shape or piece number 0601 below, Silver S. , which I believe indicates these are silver soldered. One shaker bears Gorham's year marking for 1886, while the other is dated 1887.

Standing approx. 3-1/4" high, these cylindrical shakers are in rather good condition, with a couple of small dings and scratches, commensurate with their age. The outer surfaces have been lightly polished, but you will likely want to bring them to more of a glistening sheen.

Measuring 3-1/4" long, the back of the handle is marked Sterling Baird-North Co., which, according to the Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers, was largely a distributor in the early 1900s, potentially leaving the true maker of this sweet sterling silver salt spoon a mystery.
