Vintage Glass Reverse Painted Lamp Light Shade Embossed Flowers

Offered here is another wonderful vintage glass lamp shade, with a vertical ribbed pattern at the top and a band of embossed flowers around the base.� The lower band of flowers are reverse painted, while the outer surface of the light shade appears to be flashed or air brushed in a soft peach color, finished with black enameling above and below the flower band.�

This light shade is approx. 5" high, with a bottom diameter of 4-1/4" and the top fitter diameter at 2-1/8" (measuring across the outer edges of the rim), and having a 1-5/8" opening.

In very good condition, with a bit of roughness on the inner edge of the bottom rim, and a hint of stray color here and there.� No notable loss to the painted decoration.

Painted Chocolate Roses Globe Light Cover with Leviton Fixture

Enhance virtually any room of the house with this gorgeous milk glass globe light cover, decorated with two bouquets of painted roses, one on each side.� Full bloom roses are joined by young rose buds, all in a creamy chocolate brown, with delicate white flowers and rich green leaves to add balance and appeal to the beautiful floral display.

The ball-shaped light fixture cover is fairly large, measuring approx. 7" in diameter, with the flared, gently scalloped outer rim of the opening at approx. 3-1/8". (The inner diameter of the opening is 2-3/4" across.)

The decoration is not hand painted but is instead lithography or silk screen painting, as the pattern of tiny dots can be seen with close-up (loupe) inspection.

The globe itself is unmarked, but the inner portion of the accompanying fixture hardware is marked Leviton.

In fabulous condition, with no nicks or chips to the glass globe and little wear to the painted decoration.� This ball-shaped light cover is a real vintage beauty, likely dating to the 1940s (if not earlier).

Miniature Psychedelic Flashed Tie-Dye Oil Lamp

A rather unusual and eye-catching glass oil lamp that stands a mere 7-1/2" high, including the chimney. Both the base and chimney are flashed with an overall golden yellow, then finished with spatter/brush-type vertical bands of bright red and blue-green. The lamp base is moulded with an embossed chain that wraps around, and topped by petals that give a fleur-de-lis look.

This lamp still retains its original wick, clean and unburned. In excellent condition, with no breaks to the glass or scratches in the color flashing. Although unmarked, I tend to think this was made in Japan and likely dates to the 1970s, possibly earlier.

Hand-Painted Milk Glass Lamp Light Shade - Embossed Flowers

A charming milk glass lamp or light shade in somewhat of a gourd shape, the larger rounded base embossed with three panels of flowers, hand painted in blues, maroon, and pink.� The smaller rounded portion near the top is finished with a touch of blush pink in air-brushed fashion, with a hint of color around the lower rim as well.�

Standing 5" high, the lower rim is 3-1/4" in diameter, approximately 1" narrower than the widest point, while the upper fitter diameter is approx. 2-1/8" (measuring across the outer edges of the rim), and having a 1-5/8" opening.�

In very good condition, with some roughness around the rims and a bit of discoloration that I've left as is (rather than risk inadvertently scrubbing away the hand-painted decoration).

Frosted Glass Reverse Painted Lamp Light Fixture Shade

Offering a lovely vintage bell-shaped lamp shade, with an embossed outer surface enhancing the frosted glass and bright red hand-painted flowers in reverse painted fashion on the inside.� The inner edge of the lower rim has a soft blush finish.

This light shade is approx. 4-3/4" high, with a bottom diameter of 3-7/8" and the top fitter diameter at 2-3/16" (measuring across the outer edges of the rim), and having a 1-5/8" opening.�

Overall, this reverse painted glass lamp shade is in mighty fine condition. There is a small bubble in the upper rim and a small shallow flake on the inside base rim. No notable loss to the painted decoration.
