Pair of Libbey Glass Tally Ho Old Fashioned Glasses

For anyone looking to build their collection and fill their cabinets with Libbey's Tally Ho glasses from 1946, here is a pair of the 6-1/2 oz. Old Fashioneds, decorated on two sides with a colorful print of a hunter in traditional hunting attire on his horse as they jump fences.�� The fired-on colors are crisp and strong, with the glasses appearing as though they've had little if any use.

Each Old Fashioned tumbler is 3-1/4" high with a rim diameter of 3".� Marked with the Libbey L.� In excellent condition.

Green Moon and Stars Canister Jar - LE Smith #6282

From L.E. Smith's best selling and most notable line, this Moon and Star canister is the 2 lb. penny candy jar (ware #6282), in Antique Green (avocado). This canister jar measures just shy of 7" high, including the lid, with a base diameter of 5".

Top to bottom, this jar is in near excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks. The only thing I note is a short superficial scratch on the lid and a small cluster of tiny scratches toward the bottom on one side.

L.E. Smith Cobalt Carnival Eagle Ashtray / Wall Plaque

Offered here is the Eagle ashtray by L.E. Smith, in cobalt carnival, originally produced in the mid-1960s (1963-1968) then later reissued in the mid-1970s (1975-1976) as part of its Bicentennial Collection. This particular piece was listed in the Smith catalog as Item #4500.

Occasionally referred to as Federal Eagle, decorating the center of this cobalt carnival wall plaque is a stately spread-wing eagle with an escutcheon, or shield, on its breast and seven five-point stars encircling its head. Clutched in the eagle's talons are leafy boughs, with branches forming a wreath around and decorating the rim.

Substantial in weight (at approx. 2-1/2 lbs.) and measuring 9" in diameter, this lovely piece can easily serve its dually stated purpose, and sits 1-1/4" high on a collar base. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Signed Smith Brothers Art Glass Melon Ribbed Biscuit Jar

A spectacular melon ribbed art glass biscuit jar from Smith Brothers, circa 1880 to 1900 and signed with the Trademark rampant lion in shield mark. The mold-blown jar is made with an opal milk-white glass that is then brought to its full glory with a flat satin finish and hand-painted with pink roses, front and back.

The jar stands 5-1/2" high to the rim that measures 4-3/4" in diameter. The inner edge of the rim is unpolished and somewhat rough, and I speculate this is as it was made, as it is uniformly rough all the way around.

This signed Smith Bros. art glass biscuit jar is a true beauty and a treasure for any collection. For the serious collector who enjoys the challenge of a hunt, the missing lid provides an opportunity to acquire an investment piece at a reasonable price.

Set of 12 Signed Hawkes Munster Cut Crystal 4 Inch Sherry Stems

Fabulous set of 12 signed Hawkes cut crystal stems that I believe to be sherry wine glasses in the Munster pattern, on Stem #4074. A band of three offset rows of strawberry diamonds wraps around the upper half of the bowl's flared rim, while a single row of oval thumbprints floats near the bowl base, above the elegant knob stem. Stem stands approx. 4" high (with slight variance in height, stem to stem) on a smooth round base; rim diameter just shy of 3". Signed Hawkes in block letters. Each stem is in crystal clear, excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Striped Italian Fratelli Toso Glass Vase

Blue Akro Agate Interior Panel Teapot Children's Play Toy Dish

A wonderful Akro Agate teapot from the line of children's toy dishes, in cobalt blue, softly marbleized with wisps of white showing here and there. According to The Complete Line of the Akro Agate Co., the smaller size pieces had 18 interior panels while the larger had 16. The dart-shaped ribbons (which are not always found on the serving pieces) are in groups of 5 on the small size, with 7 ribbons on the larger size.

Each side of this child-size toy teapot is decorated with an embossed five-ribbon dart and the handle is solid, not open or pierced. The lid (as shown in the book) is white, with a small button-type finial.

Measures 2-3/8" high to the rim. Marked with an embossed Akro crow mark.

In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks; just a touch of roughness on the spout's inner mold seam.

Pink Victorian Art Glass Bud Vase with Diamond Lobed Base

Here's a sweet little Victorian-era bud vase that offers lots of visual appeal through its unusual mix in form. In a rich pink or delicate cranberry cased in clear, this art glass bud vase has a four-lobed diamond quilt base topped by a squared cylindrical neck in a swirled rib pattern and finished with two clear applied handles.

Standing 5" high and 2-3/4" wide, this unsigned vase was found with a small square cutting of woven tape marked with the handwritten year 1903, likely the known or estimated age. In very good condition, with one small flake chip off the side of one top corner, and a barely detectable nick on one of the handle pinches.

PLEASE NOTE: I have and am willing to include, at no additional cost, a matching vase that has a repaired neck.

Adding to my American Sweetheart offering, this is the large creamy white Monax American Sweetheart plate, measuring in the 11-3/8" to 11-5/8" range across the "points," 11-7/8" in diameter at the larger rounded or scalloped edges.� Given the in-between measurements, I'm unsure as to whether these would be classified chop plates or salvers.� (I speculate the latter, but can't be certain.)

This pattern was produced by MacBeth-Evans Glass Co., from 1930 to 1936, and is one of the more appreciated Depression patterns, with its translucent-edged elegance. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks noted.� Prepacked weight is over 1-1/2 lb. each!

Anchor Hocking Vitrock Range Flour Shaker - Red Flower Pots

This flour shaker is one of two pieces I have available from the Anchor Hocking Vitrock Red Flower Pots range set, dating to the 1940s. Both the red flower pots and the black Flour lettering are bold and strong, with no misses, scratches, or fading, although the red lid shows signs of age but no dents/dings. No nicks, chips, or cracks to the milk glass shaker. Measures approx. 3-7/8" high, 3-5/8" wide, and 2-1/4" thick/deep.

Anchor Hocking Vitrock Range Grease Jar - Red Flower Pots

This grease jar is one of two pieces I have available from the Anchor Hocking Vitrock Red Flower Pots range set, dating to the 1940s. With a wide disc body in milk glass, the sides have a center stripe of stacked ridges, while the front is decorated with a series of four red flower pots and a black lithographed deco-style corner image more toward the base. The grease jar lid is decorated with thin concentric circles alternating red, black, red over a white lid base.

All of the coloring on this is bright and bold, with no misses, scratches, or fading, and the milk glass container and lid are both free of any chips or cracks. I do note a slight bit of roughness on the mold seam of the jar's inner rim at a couple of points, as often found and to be expected. You'll also see a thin line around the short neck and under the rim, but on close inspection (with my jeweler's loupe), I've concluded it must have been a cooling line around the top, later infiltrated with dirt or dust, as it's not a crack.

Jar measures 6-1/2" high, 5-1/4" wide, and 3-5/8" thick/deep.

Antique German Roemer Wine Glass Goblet - Uranium Spiral Twist

A beautiful antique�German Roemer hock wine glass goblet with a cup that has been wheel etched with a bow and laurel garland all the way around.� Most fabulous is the apple green spiral twisted rib stem; you don't even need a blacklight to know that this one is loaded with uranium.� (It fluoresces a bright yellow-green.)

Standing 6-3/8" tall (the stem is about 4" high), this lovely antique Roemer is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

EAPG c1901 Virginia / Banded Portland Creamer w/ Decoration

This fabulous old creamer is part of the U.S. Glass Co.'s Virginia pattern, also known as Banded Portland, a pattern which was manufactured in 1901 as part of the company's State Series. Measures 4" high and 2-1/2" wide (4" handle to spout). The rose gold decoration at the base and on the rim is still evident (and playing a few tricks on the camera), with the rim showing the decoration only in the scallop folds. I note a couple of manufacturing cooling marks, one encased bubble, and a bit of roughness near the base on the scored points, but overall this lovely antique piece of glass history is in excellent condition.

Antique Footed Glass Compote with Cone Finial Lid

Sometimes the most simple things can be the most challenging to identify.... This antique lidded compote is one that would fit in with just about anything; the side walls of the bowl and lid are smooth and without decoration, and the finial is a simple, smooth elongated cone. Deep enough to hold pastries or fruit, you really can't go wrong with this one.

Stands 6-3/4" high to the top of the bowl, 11-1/2" high to the top of the finial and is 7" in diameter. In very good condition, especially considering its age (likely dates to around 1890), with a few small nicks to the underside edge of the bowl and a 1/4" bruise at the disc edge, below the cone finial. Prepacked weight: 3-1/2 lb.

Fenton Cranberry Spiral Optic Rose Bowl #201 - Crimped Rim

Beautiful Fenton Spiral Optic rose bowl in cranberry and a gorgeous example of the #201 shape.� With a yummy opalescent crimped top, this vase was part of the cranberry spiral optic line that enjoyed a short run, which began in late 1938 and was discontinued by early 1940, at a time long before Fenton marked its wares.

Stands approx. 4-3/4" high and 5" in diameter at the widest point.� In very good condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.� There is one encased bubble, not felt from the outside and difficult to photograph (see next to last photo) and a slightly bulging seam near the base, as shown in the last photo.

Levi Levay Threaded Rosalene Art Glass Oil Lamp - Fenton Cullet

Gorgeous!� This beautiful art glass creation from the late Gary Levi of Intaglio Art Glass Studio provides a fabulous mix of material and creativity, with Fenton rosalene cullet used to create the tapered oil lamp that is decorated with a drizzling of blue Fenton cullet threading and finished with an iridescent sheen.

Measuring approx. 4" high and 3-3/4" in diameter, this lamp is signed with the Levi stylized punty logo signature. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Blue Northwood #694 Flared Rim Stretch Glass Bowl

At 11" in diameter, this gorgeous stretch glass bowl is one of the larger ones produced by the H. Northwood & Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, during its stretch glass years, 1916-1925. In a fabulous Celeste-type blue, the delicate iridescence adds a sparkling appeal to the stretch finish at the outer rim of the bowl.

Measures 3-1/2" high, with a rim diameter of 11" and a base diameter of 3-3/8". There is a small, shallow nick at the rim (1/8" x 1/16"), as shown in the fifth photo. As you can see, it's relatively hard to find, yet easy to forgive on this lovely piece.

Indiana Glass Double Fleur de Lis Comport 3-Toed Bowl

One of the more elegant pieces produced by Indiana Glass, this three-toed Double Fleur de Lis comport bowl is finished with a floral etching.� Each of the three panels has a single flower on the stem at the center, with curved double lines framing it, left and right, while leaf sprigs span across the top and branch out to each side. � A long-stemmed fleur de lis defines the border of each panel, with a fleur de lis point at the center edge of each panel and again at the bowl base.

Indiana produced its Double Fleur de Lis line (pattern #607) in crystal in the 1940s, likely extending into the 1950s.� This console bowl measures 11-1/2" across the top, point to point, and stands 4-1/2" high.� In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Pair of Hawkes Munster Cut Crystal Stems Champagne/Tall Sherbet

St. Louis Univers Glass Vase - Large French Crystal Vase

Substantial both in weight and appeal, this stunning French Univers crystal vase by St. Louis is sure to draw attention. The Art Moderne form entices the eye with voluptuous curves and a teardrop parting that graces both front and back. Measures 8" high and 6" wide at the widest point, with the 3/4" thick upper rim leaving a 1-3/4" receptacle opening.

Both sensual and evocative in form, this vase is much heavier than it looks, weighing an impressive 8-1/2 lbs. In near excellent condition, with a rub or subtle surface scratch below the round, to the right of the rise (see next to last photo), that doesn't serve to detract from the elegance of the vase, but could be polished out at the buyer's discretion. A stunning piece, signed Cristal St. Louis France.

Fostoria American Catsup/Ketchup Bottle (Sans Stopper)

For the person who's managed to find or salvage the stopper but now needs a catsup/ketchup bottle to go with it, here we have a Fostoria American ketchup bottle without the top.

Unmarked with a cut shut bottom, this ketchup bottle stands 5" high to the highly polished, flawless rim. The only issues I find to report are a couple of small nicks and scratches on the block points or side facets to the bottle side, which I've marked in the photos.

Overall, this is a great find, especially if you've got a stopper just waiting to be put to work!

Jeannette Pink Depression Glass Cherry Blossom Footed Sherbet

Jeannette Glass Company produced its ever-popular Cherry Blossom line throughout the 1930s, and it remains a highly collectible line even today. This pink footed sherbet measures 2-3/4" high with a rim diameter of 3-3/4". Original (not a reproduction), and in excellent condition; there's a tiny foreign fleck of debris encased in the foot, no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches.

Scarce 1905 Blue Opalescent Dugan Keyhole Bowl

In one word... Beautiful! This stunning beauty is a scarce example of the Dugan Glass Company's Keyhole pattern dating to 1905. With a 3-in-1 edging, the blue bowl has a luscious, creamy opalescent rim and a fine beaded keyhole border that catches then casts a glistening light -- a combination that truly is a visual treat!

Bowl measures 9" in diameter and 3-1/4" high. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks; just a bit of roughness on the base, at the mold seams.

Large Rosenthal Crystal Domus Bowl - Germany

Gorgeous German crystal bowl by Rosenthal in the Domus pattern, impressively large, measuring 9-1/2" in diameter. With six side panels divided in three rows each, the upper portion is sleek and smooth, while the bottom two rows are divided into six concentric squares, three per row. Stands 4" high; 3-1/2 lbs prepacked. Underside signed Rosenthal German. In excellent, crystal clear condition.

Large Paden City Frost Console Bowl

From its 881 line, this console bowl is a wonderful centerpiece display of the Paden City "Frost" pattern, with a cool acid-etched pattern on the underside that looks like... well, frost. Measuring 12-1/2" in diameter, and having a smooth transition from the etching to the bowl form (the differentiating element from the 330 line), this bowl is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks, and minimal superficial scratching.

Barbini Lilac Murano Bullicante Folded Bowl with Gold Aventurine

Beautiful Murano bullicante art glass bowl with a quilted swirling pattern to show off the controlled bubbles and gold aventurine in the lilac (light purple) glass form, circa 1950. Measures 7" in diameter at the widest point and 2-1/4" high.Unsigned but typical of the work by Barbini, this beauty has a polished pontil. In very good condition, with a couple of tiny nicks barely detected on one of the folded rims, and shelf wear on the base, commensurate with age.

Set of 3 1950s Bustlin' Betsy Swanky Swig Little Tumblers

According to "The Decorated Tumbler" by Weatherman, these Bustlin' Betsy swanky swig tumblers were released in 1953 as Kraft premiums, originally containing cheese spreads and, once empty, serving to brighten up your country kitchen cupboards.

Included in this three-tumbler set are:

Afternoon Tea (in red) with Bustlin' Betsy, the household maid, serving tea to the mistress and her house guest;

Serving Dinner (in green) with Bustlin' Betsy again being a dutiful servant at the dinner meal; and

Telephone Conversation (in brown), with Bustlin' Betsy listening at the curtain to the mistress's telephone conversation.

Each 5 oz. swanky swig tumbler measures approx. 3-3/4" high and is excellent condition, with bright, crisp, and complete patterns.

Libbey Tally Ho Zombie Cooler Tumbler - 6 Available

Each cooler tumbler is 7" high with a rim diameter of 2-3/8". Marked with the Libbey L. In excellent condition.

Raging Red Italian Cased Art Glass Pitcher with Yellow Rim

Made In Italy, this fabulous cased art glass pitcher stands approx. 11" high and is in a raging red color, with just a hint of orange, topped off by a yellow rim and finished with a crystal loop handle. (At the rim, the inner white layer of glass peeks through, giving the rim an interesting appeal.)

At its widest point, this pitcher is 7" in diameter. The pontil is ground but unpolished, and there are some unobtrusive tooling marks on the outer rim and a near-smooth, subtle crease at/above the curvature at the base, on the spout side. Bright and yummy hobnail vase, with hobs that are larger than those typically found. Vase is gathered at the neck, with a tri-fold, fluted rim. Stands 6" high, with a base diameter of approx. 3-1/2". Unmarked and maker unknown, although I'm told there is documentation of Italian origin.�

Tall Butterscotch Italian Empoli Dimpled Cased Art Glass Ewer

Offered here for your decorating sweet tooth is a yummy butterscotch cased glass pitcher from the Empoli region of Italy, circa 1950.� This ewer or pitcher stands elegant and tall, 18" high with a long, sleek neck and a bulbous pinched or dimpled base. With a teardrop start, the base is brought to a three-sided form with three concave circles that sink inward to a point.

Completing the curves on this beauty is an applied amber handle, nestled next to and rising up from the lower lip of the rim, with the handle arch nearly equaling the height of the spout. Favoring the grace of a swan's neck, the handle then makes a long, elegant drop to rejoin the pitcher near the top of the teardrop base.

This fabulous piece stands 18" high, with a 6-1/2" spout-to-handle span and a base diameter of 6", at the widest point. In very good condition, with a few tiny encased bubbles and short, superficial scratches; no nicks, chips, or cracks. Circa 1950.

Large Depression Green Hocking Princess Hat-Shaped Glass Bowl

The most elegant piece in the Princess line by Hocking Glass, this green hat-shaped bowl will add grace to any table with its delicate green color and rolled rim.� Hocking Glass Company produced the Princess pattern during the Depression era, from 1931 to 1935, in a variety of colors, with the green glass of this bowl fluorescing as it should under a black light.

Bowl measures 9-1/4" in diameter and 4" high.� There is one tiny open air bubble at the surface of one inner panel, negligible in both size and effect.� This bowl is a beauty, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Victorian Spatter Art Glass Basket - Nut / Sweetmeat Dish

A beautiful and rather unusual star-shaped art glass basket, likely a nut or sweetmeat dish dating to the late Victorian era (1880-1890).� The cased basket has an inner white lining that has been rolled in frit of various colors - pink, yellow, plum red, and sage green - with the added sparkle of silver foil flecks, all cased in a layer of crystal clear glass.� The clear reeded handle is pulled to an inverted V form and applied at the sides with a pressed starburst-type design.� Unsigned but believed to be American, possibly English.

Basket measures 4-1/2" in diameter and 2-1/2" high to the rim, with a handle height of 6".� In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks noted.� There is a bit of roughness to the edge of one handle side that, with jeweler loupe inspection, is from the starburst pressing, and an unfinished pontil mark.

This green opalescent ruffled bowl is a gorgeous example of Jefferson Glass Company's Many Loops pattern, circa 1908. According to the "Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass," this distinctive design of "spirograph-like pattern of overlapping loops, bordered by zig-zag threading" was listed as pattern #247 and is found in crystal as well as opalescent colors of white, blue, and green.

This antique ruffled edge bowl is in a delicate green, which I have shown against both a black and light-colored background. Measures approx. 8-1/2" in diameter and 2-3/4" at the highest point. In very good condition, with one entrapped bubble noted in the base collar, and a straw mark and wisp of opalescence in the bowl's center; no nicks, chips, or cracks.

A soft and creamy Fenton art glass temple jar or ginger jar, produced from 1979 until approximately 1980 as part of Fenton's Chocolate Roses on Cameo Satin line, a line that itself continued for another couple of years. The hand-painted decoration features brown roses on Cameo Satin glass, with three roses on one side of the body of the temple jar and two on the other, identified as Fenton ware number 7488-DR. Signed Handpainted by S. Meunie, with the initials S.M. on the underside of the jar lid.

Produced for one year only, in 1939, this graceful vase is a wonderful example of Fenton's opalescent Stiegel Blue in a spiral optic pattern. The vase shape is ware #1924, with a crimped triangle-shaped rim, having three raised edges standing 4-1/2" high and three lower edges each approx. 3-1/2" high. The vase base is 3-1/2" in diameter, while the rim measures approx. 6" wide at the widest point. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks, this early vase is unsigned, as it predates any molded Fenton markings.

Dorothy Thorpe Mid-Century Flared Silver Band Pitcher Carafe

A wonderful Dorothy Thorpe Silver Band water pitcher, its original label still proudly displayed on the carafe base.� Standing 8-3/4" high, the flared silver rim is 3" tall, with a side-to-side rim diameter of 4-5/8".� A crystal clear loop handle is applied 1" below the pitcher's high waist, with the curvature of the handle masterfully done, the inner face of the upper handle almost kissing the silver.

In fabulous condition, I've left the patina untouched as I note some silver loss at the rim.� The pitcher is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Cut Crystal Glass Jug with Faceted Handle

Offering a beautiful cut crystal jug with a vertical panel pattern on the body, a cut faceted handle, and a 24-point cut starburst in the base.� The jug has a bit of a demijohn shape, but does not appear to have ever had a stopper - I find no wear or hints of a stopper on the inside of the pitcher spout or neck.�

Measuring 6-3/4" high at the top of the handle and having a base diameter of 4-1/2", this is a rather substantial piece, weighing just under two pounds.� There is a tiny nick at one of the panel seams and a couple of other short, light surface scratches that are rather difficult to detect.� With the quality of the glass, its overall appearance, the shelf wear, and its weight, my sense is that this glass crystal jug dates to circa 1920.

With a bit of an oriental flare, this lovely Consolidated Regent milk glass vase was finished by the Rainbow Art Glass Company in its hard-to-find ruby and gold Dogwood decoration. It's my understanding this vase shape, with its bulbous base and trumpet-flared neck and rim, is Consolidated #4038 from the Regent line.

Blue Opalescent Jefferson Glass Tokyo High Footed Salver

A beautiful blue opalescent footed salver in the Tokyo pattern by Jefferson Glass, a gorgeous antique piece of glass that I have seen referred to as a card receiver, compote, tidbit tray, and even a donut plate. However, an old advertisement for Jefferson's "Best" and ever-popular opalescent assortment lists this treasure as a 6-5/8" high footed salver.

The Tokyo pattern is one that causes a bit of confusion for some, given one book's vague reference to potential reproductions. Another collector book helps to clarify that issue, going on to confirm that one piece and only one piece � the jelly compote � was manufactured by Fenton in the mid/late 1970s, under the pattern name Scroll and Eye, at a time when Fenton was already marking its wares. In short, you can rest assured that this one's an original from Jefferson Glass.

Measuring 6-5/8" in diameter and 4" high, this footed salver tray is a real winner dating to the early 1900s (c 1905), with a deliciously blue center and a thick creamy opalescence around the edge of the rim. In excellent condition, with one cooling mark on the center platform but no nicks, chips, or cracks.

A beautiful blue glass slipper that would make even Cinderella proud, this Daisy and Button slipper is an L.G. Wright novelty item. With a panel of horizontal ribbing over the heel back, this slipper is similar in design to the Bryce Brothers production, which included a patent mark, a marking not present on the slipper offered here. In a blue that almost appears electric in certain light, this dish measures 5-1/4" long and 2-1/4" wide. Although unmarked, I believe this was produced by L.G. Wright Glass.� In very good� condition, with no chips or or cracks.� The mold seam on one of the lower corners is raised a bit (excess glass) with a tiny nick and some roughness to that raised area only.

Akro Agate #654 Mottled/Marbleized Orange Oval Planter

Oval Akro Agate planter in a mottled or marbleized creamy white and orange glass, a color combination that brings back memories of one of my favorite childhood summer treats - orange cream (you know, that yummy vanilla ice cream swirled with orange sherbet). The top rim is slightly flared and scalloped, while the sides are vertical ribs in two alternating sizes.

Measures 6" long, 3-3/8" wide, 2-3/8" high, this planter size was Akro's ware No. 654. Marked with an embossed Made in U.S.A. notation above the Akro crow mark and the number "5".

Please note that I do have three available, with variation in the swirling pattern, confirming their uniqueness but all equally appealing.

In very good condition, with slight roughness at some of the mold seams. One planter has a small flake chip from the flared rim on one side, as shown in the second photo (left side of first larger rib on the left).

Measuring 12-1/2" high at the highest point with a base diameter of 3-1/2", this opalescent white vase provides a perfect decorative touch for virtually any decor.

No nicks, chips, or cracks to either the flared ruffled rim or the base; I note what appears to be either ash inclusions or tool marks on one of the ribs, rather common characteristics of antique hand-worked glass. A real antique beauty!

A lovely lime Scroll and Eye footed nut dish by Fenton, ware number 8248. In a mouth-watering color that inspires thoughts of lime custard, this wonderful Fenton dish is a real eye-catcher. (The last photo was taken in a dark room, with only a black light as a source of lighting.)

Production on this piece was relatively short, spanning only a few years, from the late 1970s to early 1980s. Measures 5" high, with a rim diameter of 5-1/2" at the widest point. An EAPG plain-footed water pitcher produced by The Westmoreland Specialty Glass Company c. 1893 in its Shell and Jewel pattern. The body of this Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) pitcher is stippled, while the rim and rounded base is decorated with embossed shell and jewels.

Pitcher measures 8-1/2" high at the spout, 7-1/2" handle to spout.� No nicks, chips, or cracks noted, although there are cooling threads on the pitcher at the handle, which look like shallow veins in the stippling. A very nice pitcher in overall fabulous condition.

Fenton 1934 Mandarin Red 9" Crimped Fruit Bowl - #846

This Fenton treasure is the 9" crimped fruit bowl (ware #846) in mandarin red, a piece and opaque color combination that was produced only in 1934, long before Fenton began marking its glassware. According to Whitmyer's "Fenton Art Glass 1907-1939," mandarin red had a short production run, from 1933 through 1935, with these marbled pieces causing the "greatest excitement" among collectors.

This fabulous flared rim, crimped bowl stands 3-1/2" high and measures 9" in diameter, at the widest point. A gorgeous piece in excellent condition, with a straw mark on the inside surface, along the marbling line, but no nicks, chips, or cracks.

With lots of bright coloring, this miniature floral urn by Akro Agate is a mottled or marbleized white, orange, and yellow glass, with a threading of oxblood.� Measures 3" high and has two tabbed handles that are formed from the flaring tips of what appears to be acanthus leaves.

Manufactured for the New York City Vogue Mercantile Co., this miniature footed urn vase is marked as such on the underside. Dates to around the 1930s.� In very good condition, with two tiny nibbles from the top rim edging.

A lovely blue violin-shaped bottle vase by Imperial Glass standing 9" high, with the original Imperial and Authentic Reproduction blue foil labels, on one side, and the original price tag from Gimbel-Bond, which closed in 1981. Everyday can be a treat with this lovely Waterford Crystal Champagne or Tall Sherbet glass, in the Eileen pattern. Champagne is, for me, a once-a-year event, but ice cream or sherbet.... yum!

A sweet Westmoreland Swans in Rushes toothpick holder in milk glass, a color referred to as Opal in the Bredehoft/Sanford Glass Toothpick Holders book.� This toothpick holder has three swan torsos stationed at equal intervals near the base, their figural heads bowing down to rest on their rounded chest.� Outstretched swan wings wrap around the sides, tip to tip, with cat tail rushes filling the background and reaching up to the scalloped rim.

Measures 2-3/8" high and 2-1/8" in diameter, and is marked on the underside the the Westmoreland W over G mark.� In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Westmoreland Hen on Basketweave Nest HON, Milk Glass

Produced in the late 1970s by Westmoreland Glass, this 3-1/2" split tail milk glass hen on nest (HON) is a signed beauty.� Sitting on a basketweave nest, both the hen's comb and wattle still retain their bright red hand-painted decoration.� The chicken nest measures 3-1/2" long at the upper rim, while the covered dish stands approx. 3-1/4" high.� In excellent condition with no nicks, chips, or cracks.� The basket weave nest is signed with the W G mark on the inside base.

Vintage Cut Lead Crystal Creamer and Lidded Sugar Bowl

A lovely footed lead crystal creamer and sugar set, its height accentuated by the upright body of the creamer and long neck of the sugar lid, which is topped by a six-facet knob.� Both the cream pitcher and sugar bowl are cut with a buzz saw pattern on two sides, with the sugar bowl having two loop side handles.

The sugar bowl stands approx. 7-1/2" to the top of the finial, while the creamer is 5-1/2" high.� Handle to handle, the sugar bowl is 6" wide.

In fabulous condition, with only one small nick noted on the inside of the sugar rim, not evident with the lid in place.

An impressive prepacked weight of 3-1/2 lbs.� This set is unsigned, but I believe it to be European made, likely Bohemia or Poland.

Spectacular Foiled Pigeon Blood Red Art Glass Tumbler

Two things that I know about this little beauty... it's specular and it's a mystery. Try as I might, the creator of this gorgeous art glass tumbler remains unknown. Prior to being hand blown, it appears the rich pigeon blood red gather of molten glass was rolled in foil, with three opalescent rings strategically positioned around the side, resulting in a very unique and eye-catching finish.

Measures 4-1/8" high, with a rim diameter of approx. 3". In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Small Hand-Blown Art Glass Paperweight Vase

This cheery and colorful oval art glass vase stands a mere 3" high, with yellow, white, green, blue, and orange vertical stripes that swirl and gather at the smooth base. Hand blown, there are a few tiny air bubbles, and the mouth/opening is slightly out of round, with one wall a bit thicker. No nicks, chips, or cracks. Original and date unknown but vintage Murano a strong possibility.

The perfect size for just about any room or any surface, this bright and cheery unsigned vase is sure to add a welcome splash of color to your office or home.

Polka Dot Optic Art Glass Tumbler with Enameled Flowers

A great art glass tumbler in the Polka Dot pattern (sometimes referred to as Inverted Thumbprint), with 7 rows of dots and 15 around. For those not familiar with this pattern, the technique was developed in the late 1800s (around 1885), leaving the outer surface of the glass smooth, while the bumps that create the optic effect are found and felt on the inside.

This tumbler is decorated with dainty yellow and blue enamel flowers all around, with three gold arches separating the two as they contain the blue.

In very good condition, with a couple of tiny nicks and a thin flake on the rim, none of which are glaring issues. Measures 4" high with a rim diameter of 2-5/8" across.

Large Signed Rogaska Crystal Urn Vase

Brighten up the room with fresh cut flowers in this stylish signed 10" Rogaska urn-shaped vase.

I've yet to learn the actual pattern name for this gorgeous vase, but it has an alternating pattern of vertical cuts and oval panels around both the body and neck, with a concentric rectangular pattern of two horizontal bars joined by two x's at the transitional curve of the shoulder region. The vase body is round yet it sits on a base of nine flat panels.

Vase measures 10" high, with a flared rim diameter of 4-1/8".� In excellent condition, with a couple of encased bubbles but no nicks, chips, or cracks noted

Lacy Dewdrop Milk Glass Creamer a/k/a Beaded Jewel

Coming from a line that has changed hands a number of times since its inception but remained steadfast in appeal, this milk glass creamer is a beautiful example of the Lacy Dewdrop pattern, also known as Beaded Jewel and Lace Dewdrop.

With a band of pointed spears top and bottom, pointing inward to the mid-section, the beaded points alternate with raised drops, while the center band is an alternating pattern of stars and beaded ovals. �

Standing 4-3/4" high to the top of the spout, this cream pitcher is in wonderful condition, with a touch of roughness at the spout seam, but no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Originally made in the 1880s in crystal by George Duncan Glass Co., the Lacy Dewdrop / Beaded Jewel molds were later sold to Co-Operative Glass, who produced the pattern in milk glass until the late 1920s.� The molds were subsequently purchased by Phoenix, which continued the milk glass production, adding a painted enhancement to many of the pieces.� The molds were later sold to a glass jobber, who commissioned Westmoreland for a short period to make the milk glass line, until the mid 1940s when the molds were sold to Kemple.

Hand Painted Westmoreland Almond Bud Vase with White Daisy

A sweet Westmoreland glass bud vase, almond in color with a hand-painted brown and white floral decoration that appears to be white daisies or other five-petal flowers. (According to the value guide, this vase was produced in almond with a daisy or dogwood decoration, as well as "floral spray".)

This footed bud vase is from Line #229, with the six-sided (hexagon) base. Stands 9" high and is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks. Marked with Westmoreland's W superimposed over G.

Green Akro Agate Concentric Rib Childs Teapot (without Lid)

From its line of children's toy dishes, this green Akro Agate teapot is from the Concentric Rib pattern.� Each side is decorated with an embossed five-spike ribbon or dart and the handle is solid, not open or pierced.� No lid.

Gold Aventurine Barbini Murano Bullicante Folded Art Glass Bowl

Offering another gorgeous Murano art glass bowl, its gold aventurine adding sparkle to the quilted bullicante pattern of controlled bubbles, circa 1950. Measures approx. 6-3/4" in diameter at the widest point and 2" high.

Unsigned but typical of the work by Barbini, with a polished pontil. In excellent condition, having only a bit of shelf wear on the base, commensurate with age.

Fostoria Blackberry 2712 Nappy Bowl in Milk Glass

Fostoria produced this three-corner nappy as part of its 2712 line in the late 1950s (1959), with this example in milk glass (as I believe was the case with most if not all of that line).� The outer panels of this tri-corner nappy bowl are beautifully wrapped in a fern and berry design.� Perfect for nuts or candy, or simply for display, this bowl is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.� Measures 4-3/4" in diameter and 2-1/2" high.

Large Heisey Puritan Horse Head Cigarette Box & Cover

Heisey produced its Puritan line from 1937 until 1957, with Puritan including a variety of smoking items. One such piece was this large 6" polished cigarette box with a lid sporting a handsome figural horse head finial.

Listed in Bredehoft's Heisey Glass book as ware #1489-1/2, this cigarette box is in very fine condition, with a small chip on one side of the lid, a nick on the inside base, a couple of tiny encased air bubbles and a cooling line, and light wear. (The list may seem a bit long, but the issues are minor.) Not marked, as is the case with many of the pieces in this line, with the fabulous crystal construction having a fine polished finish. Although present day use is not likely to be for holding cigarettes, this lidded box would be great for keeping all those dresser trinkets together and safe in one place.

Measures approx. 6-1/4" long, 4" wide, and 4" high. Prepacked weight: a shy 2-1/2 lbs.

Orange Akro Agate Octagonal Small Childs Toy Tea Cup

From its line of children's toy dishes, this pumpkin orange Akro Agate tea cup is the hard-to-find small size from the Octagonal pattern.� With eight panels or sides, the closed handle is set at the center of one such panel.

Measures 1-1/4" high.� Marked with an embossed Akro crow mark and a "4" near the bottom rim.

In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Figural Crystal Glass Duck Open Salts - West Germany

Cute, cute, cute! Here we have a pair of figural open salts, with the duck body serving as the individual salt bowl, and the head decorated on each side with red enamel in the eyes. Although unsigned, 5000 Open Salts by Heacock & Johnson lists these as having been made in West Germany and originally marked with a paper label. Measuring 3" long from the tail to the beak and 1-3/8" wide, one of the ducks has a nick on the inside of the rim and another tiny flake at the base. Enameling fully intact, as well as their charm.

A great decorative pair and a fabulous addition for any open salt collection!

Fenton Hobnail Star-Shaped Creamer Sugar Set - 3917

Fenton first produced its 3917 hobnail star-shaped creamer and sugar set in the mid-1950s, with the milk glass version discontinued in 1984.� This Fenton hobnail milk glass creamer and sugar set is in excellent condition, with both the star-shaped rims and all of the hobs free of damage.�

Standing approximately 2-3/4" high, the sugar is 5" in diameter (handle to handle), while the creamer is 4-1/4" across, handle to pour spout.

Manufactured prior to the early 1970s when Fenton's molds were marked with the oval Fenton logo.

Signed Hawkes Cut Crystal Munster Liquor Cocktail Stem

Signed Hawkes cut crystal liquor cocktail stem in the Munster pattern, on Stem #4074. A band of three offset rows of strawberry diamonds wraps around the upper half of the bowl�s flared rim, while a single row of oval thumbprints floats near the bowl base, above the elegant knob stem. Stem stands 4� high on a smooth round base; 3-1/8� rim diameter. Signed Hawkes in block letters. In crystal clear, excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, cracks or other damage noted.

Threaded Iridescent Ice Levi Art Glass Oil Lamp

Here's another beautiful globe-style fire ball oil lamps from the late Gary Levi of Intaglio Art Glass Studio, with this oil lamp made from clear glass that has been decorated with a random drizzling of deep blue threading then finished with an icy white iridescent treatment.

Dating to the mid 1990s, the concave base of this oil globe is signed with the Levi stylized punty logo signature. Measures approx. 3-3/4" in diameter and 3-3/4" high. In excellent condition, the raised top is polished but slightly irregular in form. Add a wick and oil and you're off to enjoy a quiet evening or bath in its warm flickering light.

Cambridge Chantilly Vase with Sterling Base - Tall and Elegant

Oh so elegant, this tall, trumpet-shaped flower vase is a beautiful example of the Chantilly pattern produced by the Cambridge Glass Company from the late 1930s until the mid-1950s. Standing 12-1/4" tall, this flower holder has a weighted sterling base to support the 10" glass vase that rises above it. The rim has a diameter of 4-3/8" and is free of any nicks, chips, or cracks.

Simply stunning!

Powder Blue Art Glass Posey Vase

Offering a lovely miniature posey art glass vase in a powder blue, with a crimped rim that is upturned in the back.� Although I acquired the vase through Gary Levi's estate back in 2009, I've never been able to confirm that this little beauty was actually made by him.� The unpolished pontil strikes me as being older and seems out of character for Levi's glass, as all of his other pieces I acquired had more of a finished look.�

Measures 3-1/4" high at the back, and in great condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.�

L.E. Smith Colonial Blue Footed Ivy Vase with Crimped Rim

Produced by the L.E. Smith Company in Colonial Blue, this lovely footed hobnail ivy vase has a crimped rim -- a particular piece and shape that's been somewhat of a challenge to pin down on specifics.� While it's not shown or listed in the initial book on the L.E. Smith Glass company, the book lists (but does not show) a crimped vase of unspecified height, and I do find it listed on a replacement site as a "footed ivy vase".�

Measures 5-1/2" high, with a flared rim diameter of 3-7/8", at the widest point.� In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.� Circa 1960s.

Footed European Art Glass Decanter with Gilded Enamel Grapes

A gorgeous art glass decanter with rich red enameled grape vines, all hand-painted and trimmed in gold around the decanter's teardrop belly. The short tapered foot, spout rim, bubble stopper, and handle all have a gilt trim, with both ends of the applied handle adorned by a trefoil leaf.

Standing 9" high to the stopper top, I'm uncertain as to whether this decanter would have been used for dessert wine, as a vinegar cruet, or simply for display.

Showing only a hand-painted number (79) styled in European form on the underside of the foot, I am uncertain as to maker, but believe Baccarat is a likely candidate. (Baccarat didn't start marking their glass until the 1920's or thereabouts, and the glass and construction of this piece is definitely high quality. Finally, the bubble stopper is much like those I've seen on marked Baccarat decanters.)

In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks, and only a bit of wear to the gilt trim on the spout and stopper.

Akro Agate Marbleized Orange Slag Cornucopia Toothpick Vase
