Vintage Pharmaceutical Pfizer Nasal Congestion Bottle

An old Pfizer pharmaceutical bottle that originally held something for the relief of nasal congestion. (Unfortunately the label doesn't elaborate.) Bottle measures 2-5/8" high, to the top of the rubber squeeze bulb. Bottle contains a bit of residue, and the rubber gasket is firmly affixed to the bottle.

Prairie Farms ACL Half Pint Dairy Milk Bottle Olney Illinois

Round half pint Prairie Farms milk bottle with orange ACL on the front and back, with great, strong color that is both bright and complete. �One side of the bottle is decorated to look like a pound box of Prairie Farms butter bearing a round Illinois Producers Creameries logo, with a cow's head at the center. �

Around the base of the bottle is embossed lettering: �Registered Sealed 1630 - Half Pint Liquid UGP51 (Universal Glass Products Company).

Bottle stands approx. 5-1/2" high and is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks to the glass and no notable wear to the ACL.�

Josef Originals Mouse Village Peanuts

From the Josef Mouse Village, here we have the adorable miniature figurine lovingly known as Peanuts. Aptly named, Peanuts is munching on his favorite snack. Given his size, it's amazing to think he could actually eat that whole thing!

Peanuts stands approx. 2" high and has both oval Josef Originals and Japan foil labels, as well as his hang tag. In excellent condition; no nicks, chips, or scratches, with paint intact and strong in color.

Romantic Green Jasperware Plaque - Germany

Captivating jasperware wall plaque, with a green matte ground telling the story of young yet everlasting love through its white bas relief images. This lovely peek at romance is likely the work of either Schafer & Vater, Volkstedt, or Rudolstadt.

Sitting on an open armchair we see an elderly man, walking cane at hand, while at his side stands a young maiden, her long hair blowing in the wind. Both dressed in Renaissance/Baroque fashion, the symbolism in this scene leaves little doubt that the father quietly sits back to watch over his young daughter, who now begins her wait for love's return, as her parting sweetheart begins his journey. Waving her hanky to a young man riding a horse off in the distance, we see two fork-tailed swallows flying overhead, while an array of bluebell flowers and roses surround the image, all symbols of everlasting love. Peeking in from the heavens above, a flower-framed cherub face, flanked by two overflowing cornucopia, watches over and smiles upon the young lady below.

Measuring 7-3/4" wide and 9" high, this delightful German wall plaque is in excellent condition, with no damage or repairs noted. Marked 3173 over 3 on the reverse.

Mini 1977 Raggedy Ann Happy Birthday Metal Figure Vanity Fair

Ahhh, she's so sweet!� Raggedy Ann adds the finishing touches to Andy's Happy Birthday cake with this cast metal figure made in 1977 for Bobbs Merril Co. and Vanity Fair Ind.� Painted in bright colors of red, orange, blue, and green, this metal figurine stands 2-1/2" high, with a base that is 2-1/2" x 1-3/4".� Made in Hong Kong.� In very good condition, with just a few tiny chips in the enamel finish at the edges.

Green Enameled Copper Pin Dish - Lacy Pennsylvania Dutch Design

One of three enameled copper dishes sharing similar designs and maker, this dish/bowl is decorated with a lacy white Pennsylvania Dutch floral center set against a deep green backdrop. These miniature dishes are often referred to as pin, ring, or trinket dishes (with an occasional reference to plate), but I recommend just letting them sit pretty so as to keep the decoration scratch free.

Measures 3-1/2" in diameter and 5/8" deep, and is marked with a gold script Handmade in Austria, followed by the letter A in a circle.� This is one of a number of miniature enamel bowls/dishes I have coming from the same estate, all souvenir treasures from Austria.� Base metal is believed to be copper.

In excellent condition, with the colors remaining vibrant and no misses in the enameling.

1998 Hallmark Keepsake Anniversary Tin Locomotive

Offered here is the 1998 Tin Locomotive ornament, commemorating not only the Tin Locomotive series, but also the 25 year anniversary since Hallmark introduced its Keepsake Ornaments in 1973. Measures 4" long and 3" high, with moving wheels and strong, crisp coloring. This ornament is in its original packaging, with the price tag still attached. Gift inscription on the inner flap of the lid, as well as the year (1998) marked on the back of the box.

1997 Hallmark Kiddie Car Classics Murray Dump Truck Ornament

From Hallmark's Kiddie Car Classics Collector's Series, this cast metal ornament is based on a 1953 Murray Dump Truck, featuring a movable tailgate and dumping mechanism. The fourth piece issued in the series, it is dated 1997 and is in its original packaging (w/ tag still attached and original Kiddie Car Classics informational brochure). Measures 3-7/8" long, 1-3/8" wide, and 2" high.

1970s Wooden Clown Puppeteer Motion Music Box

Perfect for a young child's room, this motion music box provides a bit of charm, both in sight and sound. The bright, colorful wooden clown stands at the back of a platform base, his hands moving as the music plays, bringing his smiling puppet friend to break out into a simple dance. At the front of the platform are a little flocked lion and a stack of two striped balls made of wood. I believe the musical movement may be either a Sankyo or Sanyo; the oval turn key is marked with an "S". The music box plays I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing of the early 1970s.

Stands 11-1/2" high, 5-1/4" wide, and 3-1/2" deep. In very good, playing condition, with only a few nicks to the paint at the edges.

1901 Masonic Knights Templar Badge Medal Louisville KY

Offering a 1901 Masonic Knights Templar medal badge worn by members of the Lebanon Commandery No. 24, Knights Templar at Lebanon who were in attendance at and participated in the Knights Templar Parade held in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1901. The ornate bar pin at the top is marked Louisville 1901, with a two-tone (black and white) ribbon connecting it to the Marion No. 24 medal or badge below.

The bar pin measures 1-7/8" wide, while the Knights medal is 1-1/2" in diameter. The full length, with ribbon, is 3-7/8" long. Marked The Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co. Condition as shown.

Round Lidded Green Chintz Lacquer Papier Mache Box

Offered here is another lovely vintage lacquer papier mache box, originally purchased in India in the mid/late 1960s at the Government Handicrafts store.� Hand-painted in a delicate floral chintz pattern, the flowers on this round lidded paper mache box are all a plush green, finished with a gilt bordering.

Box measures 4-1/4" in diameter and approx. 3-1/2" high to the finial top.� There's a bit of a lift around the knob base that suggests either the lacquer has cracked and lifted with age or possibly the finial has been skillfully repaired.

A great decorative piece at a great price.� Be sure to check other Indian lacquer box that I have available (Product ID #C03035).

Chintz Lacquer Papier Mache Box - Kashmir, India

Offered here is a lovely vintage lacquer papier mache box hand made in Kashmir, India, and wrapped in a gold, yellow, green, and persimmon floral chintz pattern. Measures 4-1/2" long, 3-1/2" wide, and 2-1/4" high.

Dating to around the 1970s, the lacquer finish has some minor cracks and separation at the base edging, but again, this is really minor. With all of the wonderful detail, these little blemishes really goes unnoticed, allowing the viewer to appreciate the rich, delicate look.

Pair of 1960s Lefton Old Couple Bisque Wall Plaques

These sweet faces, with warm features and gentle eyes, are the fabulous work of Lefton, dating to the late 1960s. (I am told these wall plaques appear in a 1969 Lefton catalog as the Old Couple.)

Both the man and woman have strong, pronounced features, with rosy cheeks. He wears a short, floppy rimmed hat with a feather tucked into one side, while she wears a lavender-colored scarf, tied under her chin.

Each plaque is hand-painted bisque, measuring approx. 5-1/2" long and 4" to 4-1/4" wide, with matching red foil labels and stamped 5238. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs.

Old Fox Hunt Wall Pocket - Man on Horse with Hound Dogs

An old Made in Japan wall pocket depicting a fox hunt scene, with a man announcing the hunter's position as he blows his hunting horn or bugle, as he sits atop his horse.� Two hound dogs, in the foreground, prepare to engage in the hunt.

With a shape that reminds me of a spear tip, lion heads adorn the sides of the top.� In very good condition, with no structural damage to the wall pocket itself, however there is some flaking to the red paint.� Marked Made In Japan on the back.� Measures 8-1/2" long, 4-1/4" wide across the top.

Girl and Bird Cage in Window Balcony Scene Wall Pocket - Japan

An unusual yet charming pottery wall pocket featuring a young girl sitting in an open arched window, shutters thrown open to reveal a small occupied bird cage just inside the room. The surrounding wall gives the look of light-colored bricks, with flowering vines or other foliage trailing down and around the window. The square pocket is formed to resemble a balcony with spindle side walls.

Made in Japan, this wonderful wall pocket is in great condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks to the pottery, and only a few very tiny glaze flakes at the side corners. Glaze shows the typical overall crazing, adding a touch of that old, antique charm. Weighs almost 1-1/2 lbs.

Measures 5-5/8" wide, 8-1/4" high, and 2-1/8" deep, with the pocket itself 5" wide, 3-1/4" high, and 1-1/4" deep.

Daher Tin Blue Willow Tray - 1980s Made In England

A lovely decorated tin tray designed by Daher (Tin Box Company) and made in England in the 1980s, this 14-1/4" blue and white tray will add a wonderful decorating accent to any Blue Willow collection.� There are a couple of minor scratches in the dark blue border, along the bottom edge, but otherwise this tray is in fabulous condition.� Measures 14-1/4" by 7-3/8".� Made in England this tray is marked Daher Decorated Ware - Designed by Daher - Long Island-N.Y.

Pair Novelty Figural Miniature Perfume Bottles - Men in Top Hats

Offered here is a pair of novelty perfume bottles, likely dating to the 1940s, with both depicting men all "duded up," one in a tuxedo, the other in a suit, both in top hats or fedoras. The gent in the tuxedo also wears a monocle (the single eyepiece).

Both miniature bottles stand approx. 3-1/2" high -- one slightly taller, the other slightly shorter -- and the shorter man appears to be embossed / marked on the underside Made in USA - Pat App. The taller bottle is unmarked. I've seen these types of mini bottles (with the hat caps) with labeling around the hats for Lilac Lioret made in Jersey City, however the remnants of each suggest dissimilar fragrances.

Both bottles are in good condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks, but little of the original enameling decoration remains. Both bottles for one price; here's a great way to add to that collection!

Wild 1960s Red Leather-Like Naugahyde Bedspread

For the bedroom that is more leather than it is lace, here we have an absolutely wild and wonderful bright red Naugahyde bedspread dating to the 1960s. In the Rat Pack era, Frank or Dean would have been right at home enjoying their drink of choice while relaxing on this one!

In fabulous condition, with no marks, discoloration, or other damage noted, this mid century modern bed spread has red piping at the edges and is cut for a full/double-sized bed, measuring 54" wide, 90" long, with a skirt drop of 21". (As you can tell, the photos were taken outside in sunlight. As a result, and the red-on-green had my camera a bit startled; the color may look a bit off and possibly more like a hot pink, which is half-right. It's hot, but not pink.)

This bed cover weighs over 5 lbs., which means you'll need to be prepared for hot and heavy with this one!

Pair of Andrea by Sadek Butterfly Picture Frames

Offered here is a cheery pair of bone china (porcelain?) picture frames from Andrea by Sadek, decorated with bright and colorful butterflies all around the scroll edges. Each frame measures 5" high and approx. 3-3/4" wide, with an oval picture opening of 3-1/4" high and 2-3/8" wide, and original glass in place. Each frame retains its Andrea by Sadek - Made in Japan gold foil label, and bears a 9615 red stamp marking.

In excellent condition; no nicks, chips, cracks, or decoration loss.

Vintage 1967 Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls 3-Piece Set

A vintage 3-piece set of maiden Russian nesting dolls (matreshkas / matryoshkas), still with the original label and dating to 1967. The basic design of these dolls is simple, but bright and traditionally Russian.

All three dolls are in excellent condition, with no cracks in the wood or chips in the paint noted. The largest, outer doll measures approx. 4-1/2" tall, while the smallest (one-piece doll) is just slightly over 2" high.

Castel Limoges Trinket Box with Hand Painted Roses

A sweet little Limoges hand painted trinket box, in a slightly rounded casket shape and dating to the 1960s / 1970s.� The box has a white porcelain base that has a white moriage scroll decoration around the sides and on the hinged lid, with hand painted roses on the top and front.� The painter/decorator's name is signed on the lid (Denis).�

Measures approx. 2-3/4" long, 1-1/2" wide, and 1-1/2" high.� Signed on the underside with the Castel Limoges France mark, along with Made In France, Hand Painted, and another unfamiliar laurel wreath mark.�

Bronze University of Colorado - Boulder Lizard Figure - Germany

Offering a spectacular cast bronze lizard figural desk paperweight or figure for conversational display, sculpted with a University of Colorado at Boulder shield covering his back. �The CU-Boulder motto is properly depicted, with University of Colorado in raised letters around the circumference, noting 1876 as the year of its founding. �The motto,�ΛΑΜΨΑΤΩ ΤΟ ΦΏΣ ΥΜΏΝ (translating to "Let Your Light Shine" in English) is at its center, next to a sitting Greek figure.

Measures approx. 5-1/2" long and 2" wide at the back feet, and weighs 5 oz. -- rather heavy for his size.

In excellent condition with no damage noted.

1970s Rogers Presidential Commemorative Spoons 36-Pc Set in Case

A complete 36-piece set of silverplate presidential commemorative spoons, made by William Rogers Company, with this collection dating to 1971. Each spoon serves to commemorate one president, ranging from George Washington through Richard Nixon. (While Johnson, who preceded Nixon, was actually the 36th president, Grover Cleveland served two non-consecutive terms, but has only one spoon in the collection.)

Each teaspoon measures 6" long, with the handle tip finished in a detailed, bas relief facial likeness of the president, his name vertically embossed below on the handle. Each spoon bowl depicts either a building, quote, or event image germane to that president's tenure.

Each handle back is marked WM ROGERS MFG CO (William Rogers), with a second IS marking (international silver / silver plate).

Other than needing a slight polishing, this complete set is in excellent condition, and comes not only in its original black case marked Presidents Commemorative Spoon Collection, but the original shipping box postmarked June 1971 from I.C.M., Inc., in Florida (for a whopping shipping cost of $1.10 on a 6-lb. package!)
