Wonderful vintage 17 jewel Elgin men's manual wound wristwatch, in great working condition, with a 672 movement in a 10K gold-filled case. The dial face has seven raised gold numbers (12,2,3,4,8,9,10), with stick tick marks at 1,5,7,11 and a subsecond dial at the 6 o'clock position.

The serial number (P835941) on this wrist watch dates it to 1952. When I wound the watch up, it was a nice, smooth process, and the watch started right up, no problems. Setting it to the correct time was again as smooth as can be, and now hours later, it's keeping time just as it should.

There is subtle wear on the crystal, nothing that interferes with the view or detracts from the appearance. The inside of the case backing indicates the case is 10K gold filled, made by the Star Watch Case Company. The watch band is a Hadley flex watch band, showing some wear, but only on the high points of the flex links.

Overall, a great men's Elgin wrist watch in working condition!
