A pair of vintage Easter bunny rabbit figures, made in Japan and originally purchased at Stix, Baer & Faller, likely in the 1970s. Each rabbit stands just shy of 4" high, but appears far from shy, with big alert eyes keeping guard over the decorated Easter egg they hold. With one figure pink and the other blue, the eggs are matching in color, just a bit bolder.

I originally thought these were ceramic, but on closer inspection, it appears they are more of a lightweight plaster-like construction. Each retains the original Stix Baer Fuller price tag as well as a "Made In Japan" foil label, with the letters "MY" in the center of the ring formation. In excellent condition, with no damage noted.

For those unfamiliar with the name, Stix, Baer & Fuller, was a department store chain that operated here in St. Louis from 1892 to 1984.

Measures 4-1/2" long (to the plunger end) and 3" high (2" from the yellow platform to the egg top). Marked on the underside Made in Hong Kong.

The necklace measures approx. 21" long, while the bracelet is 7" long, and the screw-back earrings (marked 925) have a drop of 1-1/2". The combined weight on this set is approx. 4 ounces (115 grams).

Offered here is the Eagle ashtray by L.E. Smith, in cobalt carnival, originally produced in the mid-1960s (1963-1968) then later reissued in the mid-1970s (1975-1976) as part of its Bicentennial Collection. This particular piece was listed in the Smith catalog as Item #4500.

Occasionally referred to as Federal Eagle, decorating the center of this cobalt carnival wall plaque is a stately spread-wing eagle with an escutcheon, or shield, on its breast and seven five-point stars encircling its head. Clutched in the eagle's talons are leafy boughs, with branches forming a wreath around and decorating the rim.

Substantial in weight (at approx. 2-1/2 lbs.) and measuring 9" in diameter, this lovely piece can easily serve its dually stated purpose, and sits 1-1/4" high on a collar base. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

Cobalt blue clouds float amidst the translucent red enamel that covers a silver foil ground around the sides. The jar top and lid are decorated with a beautiful cloisonne floral-type pattern, with a foiled pigeon blood coloring again found at the base of the bronze flower knob. The jar underside is finished in a cobalt cloisonne pattern with one white flower at the center, while the jar sits atop three small curved feet.

In very fine condition, there is very little loss to the enamel work, and no dents or damage to the jar's body or feet. (The photos were taken on a bright sunny day, so there's a bit of glare due to the foil reflection.) I speculate the lid was at one point dropped, as there's a small bruise-type crack in the red enameling and the knob does not sit totally upright. (With gentle care, it's likely you could reverse the slight lean in the knob.)

Jar measures 3-1/2" in diameter and 3-3/4" high to the knob. Circa 1900.

Offered here is a vintage sterling silver disc charm from Spencer Co., etched with two bells and some holly leaves above and below a Merry XMas (Christmas) greeting.  Still on its original card, this sterling charm  measures 7/8" in diameter. Marked Sterling on the back, along with the Spencer "S".

Fabulous set of 12 signed Hawkes cut crystal stems that I believe to be sherry wine glasses in the Munster pattern, on Stem #4074. A band of three offset rows of strawberry diamonds wraps around the upper half of the bowl's flared rim, while a single row of oval thumbprints floats near the bowl base, above the elegant knob stem. Stem stands approx. 4" high (with slight variance in height, stem to stem) on a smooth round base; rim diameter just shy of 3". Signed Hawkes in block letters. Each stem is in crystal clear, excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks.

When I first saw this, it was almost completely black, with the patterns almost completely obscured by a thickened patina. I've given it a partial polish to at least show or highlight its unusual features, but have included the first couple of photos at mid-polish to give a sense of its original state.

This appears to be made of copper over a base metal, as I see hints of layering at the edges. Unmarked as to maker or age, but given the content of the estate from which it comes, I speculate it dates to the 1940s or earlier.

Measures 4-3/8" high and 2-1/2" wide.

The antiqued or bronze-colored metal lattice cap has a tiny raised metal Austria label on one side and a white cabochon stone set in the top. Measuring 1-3/4" in diameter, 2-1/2" long from the stone to the bottle base, and approx. 7/16" thick, this bottle is in fabulous condition, with no damage noted and the glass dauber still intact.

Boot measures 4" high to the boot rim (excluding the netting), and is 4-1/4" long toe to heel. Blue ink Japan stamp on the underside, along with the original store price tag.

In fabulous condition, with just a bit of the popcorn missing.

Peanuts stands approx. 2" high and has both oval Josef Originals and Japan foil labels, as well as his hang tag. In excellent condition; no nicks, chips, or scratches, with paint intact and strong in color.

This lovely little cream pitcher is a luscious example of Royal Bayreuth's Rose Tapestry pattern. With pink roses bordering the top and base, and delicate yellow and white roses on either side, this tapestry textured pitcher measures approx. 3-1/2" high, with a base diameter of 2-3/4". In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks; only a hint of wear to the gold trim on the rim and gold loss on the handle underside. A gorgeous addition for that beloved collection!

The globe- or ball-shaped glass perfume bottle stands 4-1/4" high to the top of the collar. As to be expected, there is wear to the gilt trim and some of the enamel decoration. On close inspection, you'll note there apparently once were glass beads at the center of the three decorative side panels. My guess is that after the first one was damaged, the remaining two were removed to bring the bottle decoration back to a uniform look. Beautiful as is, but again complete with your own or a replacement top and atomizer bulb.

Standing 5" high and 2-3/4" wide, this unsigned vase was found with a small square cutting of woven tape marked with the handwritten year 1903, likely the known or estimated age. In very good condition, with one small flake chip off the side of one top corner, and a barely detectable nick on one of the handle pinches.

I found this spiral softcover book still tucked away in its original box, looking as though it had never even been opened. It wasn't until I got halfway through the book that I discovered two pages that, as best I can tell, originally hosted a Red Hot stuck together, presumably the result of time and a bit of humidity. The only other notable issue can be found on the following page, where Miss Muffet and Jack jumping over the candlestick seem to have something a bit sticky on the pages and Jack's groin. It may be that someone skilled in paper restoration can carefully steam or otherwise "unstick" the two pages, as well as clean part of Miss Muffet and Jack's minor mess.

As for the rest of the fabulous pages, open the front cover and you're immediately greeted by Rudolph and the rest of the gang, along with Santa on a sleigh heavy with gifts. The next page shows Santa sitting in a chair, reading a letter he's received from Mother Goose to his Brownie helpers. From there, we are delighted with a glimpse of: Hickory Dickory Dock clock, the dish who ran away with the spoon (with a real plastic spoon included), Humpty Dumpty atop the wall, a real Plastic Patch Band-Aid affixed to his head. Next, we're greeted by "four and twenty blackbirds" popping out of the King's pie. It is then that we momentarily stumble on the Queen of Hearts who apparently decided years ago that she cared not to share her Red Hots (or whatever the stuck candy there might be). Turn the page and we resume the visual delight with Miss Muffet and Jack, slightly marred as mentioned before, followed by Mother Hubbard and her cupboard. Trip along to find the three wise men of Gotham in a sail boat, with a real toy parachute serving as the sail, followed by a young lad heading off to market with a 3D pig in his wheelbarrow. That page cleverly transitions to the next, offering the story of the three little pigs. As we near the book end, we find Little Bo-Peep and Little Boy Blue, who is blowing a real toy horn. On the last page and back inside cover is Mother Goose thanking Santa for all that he brought, with a fold-out mini booklet of Mother Goose tales.

Other than the pages with the Queen of Hearts, all of the pop-ups and featured add-ons are present and accounting for, working as they should. I've photographed all pages, as well as the front and back cover and box lid, but as Ruby Lane listings can only accommodate nine photos, you won't find all of the photos here. Offering a colorful Coors Pottery Rosebud luncheon plate in what looks like a maroon, but may have been known as rose, pink, burgundy, or some other variation of red. Please note that I do have multiples available.

This plate (and each of the others available) is in excellent condition, retaining a high gloss finish to the glaze and appearing to have been gently used and well cared for. There are some tiny glaze pops, typical with thick glaze, but no nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing noted. Measure 9-1/4" in diameter. Each plate has the underglaze stamp mark of Coors Rosebud U.S.A. used from 1900 to 1930.

A delightful Dave Grossman Designs figurine entitled A Visit With Norman Rockwell, based on the cover of the Summer of 1971 issue of the Saturday Evening Post. Featuring a young newspaper carrier, with a Saturday Evening Post bag draped over his shoulder and to his side, the boy sits rather attentive, face to face, as Norman Rockwell appears to tell him a story.

With fabulous detail and tremendous charm, this retired figurine was issued in 1982 as part of the Dave Grossman Designs Collection of Norman Rockwell at an issue price of $120. Measures 5-1/2" high, 5-7/8" wide and 3-1/2" deep, and marked NR-40. In excellent condition with no damage noted.

Offering another beautiful Royal Doulton figurine, with this lovely lady known as Autumn Breezes (HN1934) and representing Style One, first issued in 1940. She is dressed in a red flowing gown with a pink bodice, covered by a red jacket trimmed in light green. A matching wide-brimmed hat or bonnet is tied in place with a deep blue ribbon tucked under her chin and a white muff in her right hand, dangling to the side of her billowing dress skirt.

Modeled by Leslie Harradine, Autumn Breezes was released in 1940 and discontinued in 1997. This lovely figurine stands approx. 7-1/2" high and is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, cracks, or other damage noted. Marked Royal Doulton with a handpainted marking of HN 1934.

For the discriminating Royal Doulton collector who delights in the search and indulges in the hard to find, offered for your consideration is Janet (M69), a sweet figure designed by Arthur "Leslie" Harradine and issued from 1936 to 1949. According to Wikipedia, Harradine was one of Royal Doulton's premier and most prolific figurine modelers from 1920 until the mid-1950s, with some of the most treasured figurines attributed to his gifted talent.

Janet has been modeled under various styles and sizes, with a search of the Internet and corresponding prices suggesting this M69 version is most rare. Wearing a white and pale green skirt with an overdress in pastels of blue and green, Janet stands approx. 4" high and carries an open basket of what appears to be yellow and pink roses under her right arm. She is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, cracks, or other damage noted.

The 2006 Antique Trader Royal Doulton Price Guide reflects a BV of $425 on this particular figurine.

Adding to my American Sweetheart offering, this is the large creamy white Monax American Sweetheart plate, measuring in the 11-3/8" to 11-5/8" range across the "points," 11-7/8" in diameter at the larger rounded or scalloped edges.  Given the in-between measurements, I'm unsure as to whether these would be classified chop plates or salvers.  (I speculate the latter, but can't be certain.)

This pattern was produced by MacBeth-Evans Glass Co., from 1930 to 1936, and is one of the more appreciated Depression patterns, with its translucent-edged elegance. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks noted.  Prepacked weight is over 1-1/2 lb. each!

A lovely and petite cup and saucer set by Paragon China in its Corinthian pattern, dating to the 1930s, and offered here in green. The inner panel of the teacup displays a wide band of urns and acanthus leaves in tan and brown that are set against a green background. This band is then bordered by an alternating diamond and oval pattern of brown and goldenrod, all against a creamy white china form. The same lovely pattern is found on the saucer, with the centerpiece of both pieces providing a lovely floral bouquet of various colors, with flowers medium and small.

A bit smaller than the standard teacup yet not quite a demitasse, this tea cup with its high loop handle feels elegant and quite proper, with the handle base allowing the tea connoisseur to enjoy a perfect middle-finger fit while enjoying the tea of choice.

Teacup measures approx. 2-1/4" high to the rim, with a handle height of 2-3/4" and a rim diameter of 3-1/8". The saucer measures approx. 4-5/8" in diameter.

Both pieces are marked Paragon - By Appointment - Made In England - Regd - Corinthian to match the mark used from 1932-1939.

Offered is a Royal Doulton bone china dinner plate in The Bristol pattern (Pattern # V2080), decorated in a lovely, bright array of pink roses and floral sprays.  (Please note that I have 12 available.)

Exhibiting the impressive quality for which Royal Doulton is known, this plate weighs almost 1-1/2 lbs. as it sits - amazing! Measures 10-1/4" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing, and only the slightest indication of having ever been used.

I do have a total of 12 plates as well as other place setting pieces available in this pattern, and am happy to combine shipping.

There are various hallmarks on the underside, only some of which I can decipher; marked Sterling, Mex (Mexico) 925, with what appears to be the name Ormex on the left and a partially impressed Eagle mark to the right.

Measures 2-1/2" high and 2-1/2" wide. In very good condition, with no dings, dents, or creases.

This 1978 Goebel-issued M.J. Hummel plate, titled Happy Pastime, is still as beautiful as the day it was made. Featured on the front is a young girl sitting on the ground as she knits at the base of an even younger tree. Sitting near the top of the tree is a happy blackbird, singing in unison with her newly found friend.

Marked as being HUM 271, this plate is in excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, cracks, crazing, or scratches. Measures 7-1/2" in diameter. Comes in its original box, which is itself in fabulous condition.

Dangling an oval banded agate in a brushed silver platform, these earrings are sure to catch the eye, with their unusual shape, style, and composition. Created by one of St. Louis's own couture jewelers / metalsmiths, Deborrah Daher, the brushed sterling earrings are attached to french wires and measure just slightly over 2" high and 1-1/4" wide at the base, with an oval 5/8" banded agate in the center of each. Signed "Sterling © Daher".

A uniquely gorgeous pair of earrings that will set you apart from the others.

Manufactured by Charles Meigh & Son, this lovely antique full-size plate features the Jenny Lind pattern in a brown transfer. Measuring approx. 10" in diameter, it has maintained its beauty and display appeal over the past 145 years, and shows a fine overall crazing and hints of roughness at points along the rim from a plate hanger. Marked on the reverse with an ivy wreath "CM&S" mark, lettering used from 1851 to 1861.
