Booklet cover states the Railway Educational Bureau texts, Units OA. 7, 8, 9, 9A, and 10 contain a full description of the No. 6 ET equipment and of the No. 6 DS equipment.

Soft cover publication consisting of 12 full-size (8-1/2 x 11) illustration pages folded to match the other Instruction Paper booklets, with the pages numbered Plate 1 through Plate 12.

Following is a list of the various illustrations:

Plate 1: Release position - charging the system;

Plate 2: Running position with brakes fully released and equipment fully charged;

Plate 3: Automatic service position;

Plate 4: Automatic service lap position;

Plate 5: Release position after automatic service;

Plate 6: Holding position after automatic service;

Plate 7: Emergency position;

Plate 8: Emergency lap position;

Plate 9: Independent quick-application position;

Plate 10: independent lap position;

Plate 11: Independent release position after automatic service; and

Plate 12: Independent application after independent release - automatic brake applied.
