12K Gold Bloodstone Stick Pin

Vintage stick pin with a genuine bloodstone cabochon in a simply smooth oval gold setting. The rich red flecks of iron oxide add a subtle contrast in color to the deep green stone, more readily apparently under strong light. The blood stone top measures approx. 1/2" long and 5/16" wide (9/16" x 7/16" in the frame), while the pin itself is 2-1/2" long, without the silver clutch. There are a couple of slight bends in the pin. Gold is unmarked but tests 12K.
